Day 1
Welcome to Gangtok
- Spend the evening leisurely. Check out your locality, try local cuisines, or simply relax in the charismatic environment. Mark an end to the first day of your Gangtok tour with a peaceful sleep.
Day 2
Visit Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
- Treat yourself with a delightful breakfast and proceed for a full day excursion tour of Gangtok covering the picturesque Tsomgo Lake that has an average depth of 50 ft. Spend some blissful moments at the banks of this serene lake and enjoy the mesmerising scenic beauty of the surrounding hills and pine trees.
Day 3
Transfer to Lachen
- Enjoy a fresh spread of breakfast at your hotel and proceed to Lachen. En route, visit Singhik Viewpoint that is surrounded by lush green hills and has the Teesta River gushing right below it. Check out the magnificent views of Mt. Khangchendzonga and Mt. Siniolchu from the point, before resuming your Lachen tour.
Day 4
Transfer to Lachung
- Indulge in a delicious early morning breakfast before setting out for Chopta Valley & Gurudongmar Lake. Next, get to Gurudongmar Lake -- the second highest lake in the world, and gape in wonder at its emerald blue waters and the snow-capped mountains bordering it.
Day 5
Lachung to Gangtok
- After a healthy breakfast, proceed for a half day excursion to Yumthang Valley -- the ‘Valley of Flowers’. Also, visit the Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary located inside the Yumthang Valley. On the way back from the valley, visit the Hot Spring. The Yumthang Hot Spring is known for its therapeutic value and healing properties.
Day 6
Gangtok city tour & transfer to Pelling
- Have a filling breakfast and set off for a half day city tour of Gangtok. First up on the sixth day of your Sikkim trip itinerary is a visit to the Banjhakri Waterfalls. Next, visit the Dro-dul Chorten Stupa & Research Institute of Tibetology.
Day 7
Pelling city tour & transfer to Darjeeling
- Post a wholesome breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day city tour of Pelling. First up on your Sikkim holiday itinerary is Darap Village - a small photogenic hamlet known for its vibrant culture, lively traditions, and its stunning location. Also, visit Rimbi Waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake and the bewitchingly beautiful Kanchenjunga Waterfalls.
Day 8
Departure from Darjeeling
- Have a fill of the most sumptuous breakfast at your hotel and proceed for Bagdogra (IXB). Board your train/flight for your onward destination with cheerful memories of your Sikkim Gangtok holiday.
